inforcer Product Roadmap: Q3 2026

MSP WEBINAR · ON-DEMAND · 57 MINS

Matthé Smit, Chief Product Officer, inforcer; George Cochrane, Principal Product Manager, inforcer

Matthé Smit, Chief Product Officer at inforcer, reviews what inforcer shipped in Q2 2026 and what comes next as it grows into a Microsoft 365 management platform for MSPs. Recent releases include align by policy, scheduled user offboarding, a read-only onboarding link, ServiceNow ticketing and Exchange org config. The roadmap adds granular RBAC, Intune app management, policy locking that reverts changes within minutes, scheduled Conditional Access exclusions and inforcer threat detection and response. George Cochrane, Principal Product Manager, joins with live demos.

Key takeaways

1

Align by policy checks one policy everywhere. Policies run down the left with each customer's alignment beside them, a policy shared by several baselines shows once, and a new tool renames a baseline policy across every aligned tenant in one step.

2

Prospects can onboard themselves with read-only access. A rotatable onboarding link lets a prospect authenticate their own tenant with read-only permissions and an expiring enterprise app, so MSPs can run assessments without asking for global admin credentials.

3

The app catalog is a per-MSP add-on. Matthé Smit said deploying custom apps and the per-tenant app views come with the core product, while the partner catalog of over 1,000 auto-updating apps is licensed per MSP, not per endpoint.

4

The roadmap locks policies against manual changes. Announced for September 2026, policy locking is designed to catch a change made in the Microsoft portal within about 15 minutes, revert it to the last aligned state (tenant deviations included) and send an alert.

5

inforcer TDR is built so detection feeds prevention. Much of the damage lands in the first 10 to 15 minutes after a breach, so TDR, due in early September, aims to contain within a minute. Its findings then point to better baselines and policies.
