George Cochrane demos the Partner Center Manager toolkit and property-level deviations in tenant alignment. Dan Harris covers read-only prospecting and a tiered inforcer baseline for MSPs. Frederick Bendzius-Drennan previews new Tenant Assessment and Standard SKUs, license self-service, scheduled reporting and a wider REST API.

Key takeaways

1

Deviations can be accepted property by property. The December 2025 alignment release tracks each accepted property instead of the whole policy, so a later change to another property still surfaces, and accepted deviations can be set to expire.

2

CIS is not written for small businesses. Dan Harris said CIS targets enterprise security, so the planned inforcer baseline (due in February) packages policies as projects within core, enhanced and strict tiers, starting with controls like MFA for all users.

3

Not every tenant needs the Premium SKU. Frederick Bendzius-Drennan said inforcer would add a Tenant Assessment SKU for project work and a Standard SKU for tenants on Microsoft 365 Business Standard or lower, with onboarding codes replaced by in-platform license self-service.

4

Alerts need to land in the PSA. Matthé Smit announced native ConnectWise, Halo, Autotask and Syncro integrations because email-created tickets often miss the right customer, category and priority, so the SLA cannot be assigned. Rollout was announced for the following week.

5

inforcer plans to expose everything through the API. After the REST API beta in late Q3 2025, Frederick Bendzius-Drennan listed activity log, tenant tags, assessments, users, groups, deviations and Copilot readiness as the next endpoints, plus write actions like deploying policies.
